Dual optic accommodating lens
Maxim , PS to JC: After the OP, I have not only the two varifocals (bought one month and 8 months after OP, not satisfied with the concept, always blurry zones) but as well: 1 pair bifocals PC and near vision (that is 1.25/ 2.75 against distance vision) - bought them 2 weeks after OP - 1 pair bifocals distance and near vision (/ 2.75) - superb from Zenni, at a total price of 40,00 $ approx., 20,00 the frame, less than 20,00 $ the bifocal lenses with antireflex - superb quality and vision !!
bought 4 months after OP 1 pair for distance vision, sunlight absorption 80 per cent, brown, for driving - bought them 2 weeks after OP - Maxim , to JC: Thank you very much for your friendly remarks and comments.

TECNIS® Symfony IOL is the first and only presbyopia-correcting extended range of vision IOL.
The only signs are gradually progressive visual field loss, and optic nerve changes (increased cup-to-disc ratio on fundoscopic examination).
Laser treatments may be effective in both open-angle and closed-angle glaucoma. The London Eye Hospital is now able to offer you the next generation of multifocal intraocular lenses (IOL’s) – the trifocal. This implant gives patients a better chance to enjoy clear vision at all distances with maintained contrast sensitivity and lower visual disturbance. This modern version of the classic lens does indeed have the classic look but it also has the Zeiss colors and 3D pop to go along with it, which can get addicting because when you go back to Leica glass it is just not there. It has a 1.5 aperture for shallow depth of field and is beautifully built as well as sexy to look at.Leica renders the image in a much different way, technically better but different colors, bokeh, sharpness, etc. Some of the greatest shots by the masters were shot with Sonnar 50mm designs and this design is just as capable today as it was back then.
